Uniting Expertise, Compassion, and Innovation
Uniting Expertise, Compassion, and Innovation
A monthly meeting held at the HLRI on the biomedical campus, to bring together those in the region with a passion for Intensive Care. To share the great work that is going on at a regional level, to discuss cutting edge developments in our field and to develop our relationships through networking, debate and dinner!
A monthly paper from the current literature presented by a regional trainee/fellow. Presenting at the HLRI the aim is for a strong focus on statistics and research methodology and as such the session will start with a 15-20 min introduction on a statistics/methodological topic relevant to the paper followed by 20 min presenting the paper itself. The paper selection can be assigned to the trainee/fellow or selected by them and agreed with the CCCS team. Please get in touch if you are interested in presenting or know someone who is.
Each month we invite a guess speaker to present on their field of expertise, be that research, service development and or innovation. The speaker doesn't have to be a consultant or a medic for that matter, just someone with passion for their subject and that subject relevant to Critical Care. There is an hour available to present and this is followed by a round table discussion related to the presenter's field. Followed by dinner in a local venue. Please get in touch if you are interested in presenting.
